Constructed sometime in the late 18th Century withing the grounds of the castle keep, this landmark building in Castle Street at the top of Temple Street was very much a landmark until late into the 20th Century. It was at various times Civic Offices, A Labour Exchange and Offices for a local newspaper – the South Wales Evening Post.
